James Dillon Yeager III is a Senior at Savannah College of Art and Design pursing a double Bachelor of Fine Arts in Preservation Design and Architectural History. In his studies, Dillon is focusing on community revitalization and placemaking while also furthering his knowledge of city planning and real estate development. Paired with his interest in architectural history and urban theory, Dillon's professional ethos is driven by contextual design and Classical practice. Dillon's further involvement at SCAD includes working as a Peer Tutor for the School of Building Arts, serving as the Secretary for the James Oglethorpe Chapter of the Society of Architectural Historians. In addition, he is an active member of Tau Sigma Delta and the Student Preservation Association. While he's not in classes, Dillon has also interned for the City Atlanta Department of City Planning, Historic Rosedale Foundation, and Preservation North Carolina. Upon completion of his undergraduate degree, Dillon plans to build upon his experience by joining the industry of private-sector planning and development with hopes of soon applying to graduate school. In the meantime, Dillon enjoys cooking and entertaining on the weekends while still spending time with family and friends across the Southeast
